Does anyone have a fibroid? :(

So I'm 9 weeks and even before I missed my period I knew I was pregnant because I already had a bump. At 7 weeks I couldn't fit into my pants. At my initial visit @ 8 weeks doctor said my uterus felt bigger than 8 weeks so she thought I might be having twins or I'm farther along than expected. Next day had an ultrasound which showed a fibroid in my uterus (about 3cm). Doctor said it's pretty common but I'm scared :( Does/ did anyone else have a fibroid and how are things going?
