Anatomy Scan Rescheduled 😔

So originally our anatomy scan was scheduled for 10/12 at 17 weeks 5 days, but today are routine appointment she said we need to change it. My husband was born with transposition of the great vessels--his aorta and pulmonary artery were reversed and he had open heart surgery right away. So they want to pay extra attention to the heart and do the ultrasound there instead of the regular ultrasound clinic. But they also want to wait til 20 weeks so heart is more developed. I know it's all for the health of baby, but we were so looking forward to finding out gender in two weeks. Now it's five weeks.

Not a huge deal, but a slight bummer today. Whatever is best for baby, though.
