Should I feel bad?

Question

So last week my husbands cousin had a miscarriage. 
Well, today, we had an ultrasound and found out we're expecting a little girl! I was so excited and I sent his aunt a text and picture to tell her. 
All she said was "That's wonderful. Did you know *cousin* had a miscarriage last week? She's really upset" 
Well I already posted a bunch of pics on Facebook and announced its a girl.

I feel bad, because I seriously wasn't thinking. Buy I'm also upset that this women always says we don't keep her updated, then when I tell her, she just acts like its no big deal. And I feel like she's trying to make me feel bad.

I don't think so. Her sad situation shouldn't make yours less happy. I've had a miscarriage the same week a good friend announced her pregnancy, and while I wasn't where I wanted to be I was still happy for her.

You should not be made to feel bad about your baby. Yes it is sad and is probably ridiculously hard on your cousin, however, that is not your fault... Just be there for her if she needs it and let her know you are there for her. be happy that you are a lucky momma and have a healthy baby on the way
