Flu shot???

I was recommended by my baby doc to get the flu shot for influenza. I was wondering if anyone has gotten it and what are your thoughts??? Thanks

I got mine. It protects baby for 6 months after birth and it's a dead virus so it won't make you sick or hurt the baby.

Thanks everyone! I got the flu shot. I didn't get it when I was pregnant with my son nor have I got it after being out of school. I had my opinions about it that scare me a little. Decided to do it this time! Thanks for y'all's help!

I never get the flu shot but if you feel like it's something you want then you should get it

I got it. Didn't make me feel very good for about 36 hours but then I was back to normal. It doesn't give you or your baby the flu, the the immune response from your body can make your feel achey. Better safe than sorry since I work in a hospital around sick people and saw a lot of deaths from the flu the last few years.

I got mine and the nurse who did it is super pregnant and she said she got it too.

I'm getting mine in a few weeks. I'd get it even if I weren't pregnant because I like being healthy and catching the flu can ruin that. And I don't want my baby to die, which can happen if I catch the flu. I didn't get flu shots until eight years ago, and I've never caught the flu, and this year is not the year to start.
