Sensitive to mommy's touch?

Is it true that baby can tell mom's hand from dads? I felt him kick me several times and when dad tried he stopped! It's still very subtle on the outside to feel so I told him not to worry. Maybe next week it will be more noticeable! He seems kinda bummed and left out!

I love how my babygirl kicks when she hears her brother and sister! & when she hears dad she does too! He finally got to feel her move yesterday and he stayed very attentive. He's not a mushy type. Lol

My son will only kick when his dad's hand is on my belly when it's mine he stops or kicks somewhere else I can already tell whose going to be his favorite lol

Well baby Jason's kicks have gotten much stronger in the last 2 days and my husband has felt them several times! Every time he feels him kick he looks at me and smiles so wide... I cried!

Yup. I mean I'm not sure if it's true but my baby girl kicks like crazy for me. And soon as hubby puts his hand on my belt she stops.

Same thing happening here. My boy kicks so much and so hard I can see it from the outside, but as soon as my BF puts his hands on my belly he stops! As soon as my BF takes his hands off he'll kick! My BF is bummed and now when I tell him to try to feel he doesn't bother trying. I told him the baby is just playing hide and seek with him.

Omg! Yes! My baby girl kicks like crazy! But when daddy wants to feel she stops -.- She'll let me feel her kick but not my SO. I think maybe because he has a heavy hand...? idk.. but I can't wait any longer, I want him to feel.

Lol with my first, she wouldn't really kick with my hand all the time. With my husband, it was 100% of every single time he put his hand there, she kicked him haha. So far this pregnancy she doesn't kick really for anyone. Maybe that will change when I get further into my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. 21w on thursday :)

I doubt it's the touch, but a lot of women say that the baby stops when dad tries to feel. 
One theory is that they maybe stop kicking when our heartbeat changes, and maybe it does so when our SO touches us. I know I try to calm down when he touches my belly, and then baby settles down too. 
My issue is that I feel a bunch of kicks and THEN tell him, and usually it's the tail end of the show when he gets there.
