Toxoplasmosis

Nilamani
So I got a cat a year ago from a breeder. And on my 7 weeks check up that entailed a complete prenatal infectious diseases screening which is done by blood work, I got a call from the OB/Gyn office , saying I'm positive for toxoplasmosis. It took the office two weeks to give me my results , and the doctor wasn't even te one that gave me the message. Then to top it off , the lady said I need to see a specialist which they will call me later during the week to schedule an appt. toxo is serious and they are being really laid back. Like why don't I have the appt made already ? Why isn't the doctor giving me the results ? Now I'm a nervous wreck on what to do. Has anyone gone thru this ?
