Who did you invite to your wedding?

I have a ton of family and i am restricted on how many people can attend. My family makes up 100+ people and i am supposed to have less than 100... I have some really dramatic family members that i would rather NOT deal with on my wedding day... would you NOT invite thoes people even if they were your direct aunt and uncle?

The rule for my family/friends was that if I haven't seen them in over a year then they weren't invited. Hubby didn't follow by that rule though. 😑

You invite close family and friends to the wedding, then you invite the rest of the world to the reception. Have them grab a brownie and call it good for that part.

Invite only the people you want. If people complain, that just shows how rude and unwelcome they are! Tell them sorry, we don't want a large wedding, and move on. 
If anyone is going to cause drama, I wouldn't give them the time of day. Keep only positive influences close to you!

Got married on a holiday in the hopes that most people wouldn't come because of other obligations. It was the only way we could appease our parents while still getting the smaller wedding we wanted. Also only had a dessert reception so people who only show up for dinner didn't come!

We invited everyone to our wedding. We knew a lot of people were not going to come, but we invited them anyways.

With my brother in law and wife they did not invite any of the people that did not respond to our invites or the people that didn't show up to our wedding. It's made it a lot easier on them to know who to invite and who not to invite. They also bought less invitations than we did.

When I get married I want to invite my best friend and her family, and my fiancé's two best friends and their families. That's It, as of now, at least for the legal ceremony.

It was just me and the hubby in a chapel in vegas with our photographer and the chapel owner as witness... best decision ever.
