Baby kicks?? Ah!

I'm 17 +3, I have an anterior placenta, and this is my first baby. So I'm positive I won't feel REAL movement for awhile. But I've been feeling some little random...kind of pokes...where my uterus is. I mean they're super random. I know it's not gas but do you think it's the baby?? If it is, is it supposed to be random like that or are you supposed to feel them a lot??
