i dont regret getting married, my exhusband was the best thing that ever happened to me. he saved me from my self a nd helped me overcome some really bad life choices. however i also dont regret divorcing him because i simply wasnt happy being a housewife. i dont think saying i do changes things, except legally. but life and time changes people and alot of times after a fight or something you sit back and look at the person and see the changes clearly.

I married my high school sweetheart. We met when we were 14. We dated for 10 years before we got married - broke up a few times in there and I dated a few other guys towards the end of high school and college. But he's never even held another girls hand. He is the absolute best part of my life. He's my best friend, and I can't imagine a day without him. We've been through a lot, especially in the last year with our journey into parenthood (we had a terrible loss in January this year, but are now expecting again), but I feel like it's seriously strengthened our relationship. At the end of the day, all mushy stuff aside, I think it's most important to be friends. We put each other's happiness before our own and try and to make each other laugh as much as possible. And really, it's just like hanging out with your bff all the time. And having a sleepover every day haha We're in it for the long run for sure.
