Emergency room nightmare

So about a week ago I got what appeared to be a mosquito bite on my leg. A couple days later it got a dark spot in the middle of it so I thought well maybe its a spider bite. It then started getting bigger and scaley...didnt really itch or hurt just there. Now I have several on both legs and my scalp and am itching from head to toe. Dh is thinking ring worms but idk...to me they don't look like ring worm. Due to the excessive itching I decided to go to the er since in my opinion whatever it is seems to be acting systemic. Dh takes me to the er. I go to triage and was told...based on my vitals they won't see me in the er.... what!!?? Are you serious! !!
