Swing, rocker, bouncer?

Question

Do I need them all? We have a Small house and  I registered for the 4moms mommaroo but second guessing this choice! People love the fisher price rock and play but do I really need to have all this stuff? Lost! Please help me figure out what I really will use in those first few months😁

I have the mamaroo and a little vibrating chair thing. The mamaroo stays in our living room where I can bring the little bouncer around with me while cleaning and such

All the babies in my family just love a simple bouncer with the vibrating function. C: only thing I got for my son, hope he likes it. If not we will try a rock n play

You don't need all, I'd find something that has all the basic functions, I had this little chair thing that vibrated and rocked and she loved it and then someone gave us their swing and she loved that

I am just going with a bouncer (that has an auto bounce and heart beat vibration settings), as its more mobile to be able to move it around the house. I hope it will mean I can take a shower with baby in the room. I was told that the swings are good but take up a lot more room and you can't just pick it up and move it from room to room so easily.

We had a Rock N Play, and our son hated it!  He would only be in it for a few minutes tops before crying. He didn't like it moving or still. We had a gift card to BabiesRUs and they had an open box Mommaroo that was on sale so we snagged it...and he loves it. He doesn't like all the motions (some make him cry immediately) but there are 3 he likes.l so we stick to those. We never did have the vibrating chair--I see the appeal, we just didn't want to buy everything and we've been fine without it.

The best is a rocker. I kept mine downstairs. So I could work a baby would be in it. U can leave the rest for later

Unfortunately it is hard to say because babies will have preferences (some babies hate swings but other babies love them) and you even may end up not liking the item after you actually use it. I would say if you really don't have room then just get qhatever one you think you want to use and then buy the others later if this one doesn't work out.

Also some things come as a combo. I saw one that is a swing but can detatch into a bouncer. Alot of swings have a lock that can make it a rocker. Some pack and plays come with a bouncer.  Good luck :)

We only had a swing for our daughter and honestly that didn't even get used a lot. :) I think it depends on your parenting style though too. We baby wear a lot because it really soothed our daughter and helped prevent the dreaded flat spot. Since babies on there back all night the. In your arms on their back then add in swings bouncers etc. She's now 10 months old 22lbs 30" and walking :) but we still baby wear a lot and her head is perfect.

I'm sure the mommaroo will be just fine. Don't over think it. The only item we have in our living room is the rock n play and he loves it. Everyone swore up and down we would need a swing but you know what... We don't!
