Cold/flu in 3rd tri = early labor?

Question

I caught a cold from work last week and since then my Braxton hicks have started coming more frequently. At first I thought coincidence, but the two days she's been heavily pushing on my cervix. Last night my stomach started bothering me. I'm concerned being sick is making baby want to get out. I'm 35 weeks today. Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I just being irrational?

35w 4d and I came down with a cold yesterday. I am hoping this passes quickly because I fee like crap!  I haven't had any more BH because of it though.

I'm 35 weeks and was sick last week/week before and this same exact thing was happening. Now that I feel better and kicked the cold it passed and I barely have Braxton hicks and pressure anymore so the doctor said he wasn't concerned. Obviously everyone is different and it doesn't hurt to ask so don't feel bad calling though if you're worried!

Following this! I've been having contractions all week long, Friday the doctor checked me and I'm 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. Was sent to L&D but then sent home after a few hours since they weren't getting stronger/changing! Started losing my plug at 32 weeks, I'm 34weeks & 5days today and since my appointment I've been losing more and more of it. Also seem to have some cold symptoms the past two days..
