Pathological pregnancy?

Completely sorry if I can't post this here, but I have a friend who likes to exaggerate and falsify things. 
She has had "pregnancies" and "miscarriages" before. 
She has lied about having three different types of cancer. 
And told my best friend "she wants a baby so bad" when she's posting that she's pregnant and stuff. 
She will not show pictures of sonograms, and has lied about having a job as well. 
Do you know someone like this? What's the best way to handle this fragile situation.

I've found that when you look at this type of "friend" long enough, you realize that they aren't really a friend at all. They are just someone that enjoys drama and to have someone's attention.

It is a matter of time until she tries to pull you into her vortex of drama.

Cut her off and move on. There are plenty of great people that would enjoy your friendship and not be pathological.

I would just cut her off. She clearly has some issues going on in her to where she would feel the need to lie about something as tragic as a miscarriage.

I have an associate like this... she actually tried to convince me that her family owned half the black forest in Germany but she was living in the same run down low income apartments my husband and I lived in. Lol... I just ignored her. I mean I talked to her but I didn't take anything she said seriously. There is no point in calling them out because they will just lie more. I would just distance your self. She also lied about having cancer wich really ruffled my feathers. I just had to walk away. I didn't say anything I just stopped reaching out and getting together. I'm always "busy" lol

In high school I had a friend who would say stuff like that and then she went on to say that her cousin was actually her baby that she gave to her aunt. She also said she was adopted from Cuba and she's the whitest blonde person you will ever meet and she looks so much like her mom. I called her out on her lies and she got pretty upset and we haven't really talked since.

This is my sister, she lies about the stupidest things from gifts her bf got her to going out to dinner.  The worst was telling everyone she needed emergency surgery to remove an ovary due to cancerous cells, that was 7 years ago.  I can't stand her.

Both my grandmother and mother are like this, but it's because of Münchausen syndrome.

My grandmother told the whole family she had pancreatic cancer about four years ago now. She's still alive, never went to chemotherapy, and after about a year of playing the part she was miraculously cured.

My mother growing up told my siblings and I that she had multiple sclerosis. She doesn't.

I had a friend once that was similar to who you're describing. She had several "pregnancies" and "miscarriages", but never had any proof and never knew who the daddy was, even when she was "dating" someone.  I honestly just cut her out of my life. She was toxic, and although she was my friend and I cared about her ad wanted to be supportive, I just couldn't handle the lies.  Get her away from yourself!
