Such a horrible feeling

Last night I had my first miscarriage ever. State of shock doesn't even begin to describe how I'm currently feeling. I was exactly 5 weeks along.

How long was the process for others before they started trying to conceive again? I feel like by wanting to try again I'm somehow disrespecting the baby I just lost. Does that sound crazy?

I've read you are very fertile after a miscarriage. My body is currently in no condition to start now but just wondering others stories.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.
