Bacterial vaginosis and pregnancy

So I'm on my second round of antibiotics in one month and the burning and itching and discharge won't go away. I'm 33 weeks and my doctor said some pregnant women are immune to the medications and it won't go away. Anyone have this and can offer their experience? Did it make you go into preterm labor or have low birth weight?
