How often do you test for LH surge?

How often do you use an ovulation test? Once a day? Twice a day?  Wondering if I am doing this right?!?

I start off testing once a day and then when it gets a little dark I got to testing two times a day.

Twice a day.. The one I have says to use FMU so I do. But everything online says to test Late afternoon so I do when I get home from work around 430... I had a positive one last evening and this am!!

I do it once a day at 11am or so, once my fertile week is about to start I test twice a day, 11am and 4 or 5pm

I feel like mine never has a positive LH surge. So frustrating!
