Is it a bad idea for me to get a tattoo on my lower arm?

My husband and I want to get matching tattoos but some friends and family are telling me it's a bad idea to get one there where it can't be covered by a t shirt. Help!

If it has ANY possibility of interfering in any way of your life, I say it's a bad idea. The tattoo will be there forever, so you should choose a place that is less likely to affect your life (eg career wise). There are so many places on the body you can get it done, my advice is to not put it right on the lower part of your arm.
