Is there still hope after chlamydia?

I had it around 2012 not sure how long but got it treated second time around 2 or 3 months by my ex who cheated on me. Been trying for 8 months and still nothing I hope this std didn't cause any damage 😔😥

I had it back in 2010, got it while I was pregnant from my ex due to him sleeping around on me. I am now pregnant again. I am sure I could of gotten pregnant before now but hubby and I decided to wait before doing so.

I believe there's long term damage like if you went years without being treated. I had it back in 2009 but luckily caught it very early and had it treated right away, I started having symptoms 3 weeks after my boyfriend cheated on me. Now him and I worked things out for another 3 years and I never got pregnant by him. We weren't trying but we weren't avoiding it. I've been with my fiancé for 2 years now and we're due with a baby boy in December. I already have a 7 year old with my ex before the guy that gave me chlamydia. My guess is that that guy just can't have children. I went years thinking I couldn't have anymore babies. But it happened when I least expected it. Everything happens for a reason.

Can it cause damage? Yes. I would recommend seeing a doc about it if you're worried. BUT sooo many people have had that and more and have gone on to still have completely healthy pregnancies. Sometimes it just takes people longer to get pregnant regardless! Also if you're stressing about that and stressing over getting pregnant, it may take longer as well. Try to relax and not think on it too much. PS I knew a girl who had chlamydia for nearly a year and didn't know it and has been able to get pregnant twice. Don't let it discourage you :)

I had it in in high school and didn't find out until I was already pregnant. Idk how long I had it though.  Couldn't have been too long
