Extreme pain after D&C

So I had a D&C done last Tuesday. I felt so much better than I thought I would afterwards. Very little bleeding if any and not much pain. Well on day 4 my stomach pain is extreme. It feels like a tight ball on my lower abdomen. I didn't even need the pain meds until yesterday. Last night the pain was so intense I threw up. My stomach is in constant pain, especially when I use the bathroom or pass gas. Does this sound normal? Should I be concerned or will it pass with time? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
