Baths?

I'm 9 weeks today and a bath sounds amazing.  Is it safe though?

This is my third pregnancy and I've taken baths all the times. My doctor said, even if it's hot, it cools, so it's not an issue.

You can take hot baths: the water is constantly cooling and much of your body is exposed to the air, so evaporation can help cool you. Obviously don't have the water so hot that it's scalding (turning your skin bright red), but you don't need to have it lukewarm, either. If you are really paranoid about it, you can take a bath first thing in the morning when your body temperature is naturally lower, and keep part of your torso and a limb or two exposed to the air.

Hot tubs pose a much greater risk of hyperthermia because the water temperature remains constant, and the body is less able to prevent overheating when you are submerged to your neck. Ten minutes in a hot tub can raise your temp upwards of 102 °F (potentially teratogenic), but you are very unlikely to have that dramatic an increase in a regular bathtub for the same amount of time.

Hated baths always was a shower person until the end of my first pregnancy! Total life changer. Even got me through our miscarriage inJune that pain was worse than my first labor. Currently preggo with our rainbow and I take nice baths like every other day. Ps if You want it to be really fabulous buy some products from Lush cosmetics! My favorite is the bubble bar brightside!!! Smells so refreshing amazing bubbles and makes my skin so smooth and soft.

I take baths almost every day. I'm so nauseous and it's one of the only things that helps. I just try to keep if from being too hot.

My doctor told me to take one bc I was having back pain. Warm, not hot though.

I basically live in my bath tub now, dr said I can take hot ones since the water cools it's not a steady temp
