How early can you see gender??

Question

How early can you find out the gender with a normal ultrasound? I'm getting a ultrasound next week at 14 weeks (just a normal check up) and I'm really hoping they will be able to give me a guess! We have booked a 3D/4D ultrasound for 16 weeks to find out but I can't wait that long 😁 also does anyone else feel that they may be disappointed if the baby isn't the gender they thought? Obviously I'll still be extremely happy either way but I think I might be disappointment to start with for getting it wrong. 💕

They gave me a guess on what they thought it looked like at 13+3! And I've seen tons of ultrasounds that are pretty obvious so they may! Just depends on your provider. I've also seen some ladies that their tech/Doctor won't even look down there. :( so ya never know. I find out in 1 week 5 days if my tech was correct or not!

I did mine at 17 weeks. It was accurate.

With both, my ultrasound tech was able to guess with confidence it was a girl at 12 weeks. She was right with my first...we'll see if she's right on Tuesday at my next app. I'll be 17+2 ( I was supposed to go last week st 16 weeks.)

I have to wait until 19 weeks(my next apointment) tried to get the tech to tell me what we were having a week or two ago but she said it was too early. I really want a girl but I'm sure it's another boy. I wanted a girl for our second and cried when they said we were having another boy. It's hard to have your hopes up, but you never love the baby any less! I couldn't picture my life without my second son and wouldn't want to change it at all. Same will be for this baby when they tell me it's my third boy lol

Also at the comment saying it's bout worth 3d, I had mine as a gender one but we also did 3d. This is what he looked like. I personally thought it was awesome as hell. Sure he is tiny and has no fat , but you can see his face and him moving around!

3D/4D isn't necessary for gender. 2D is sufficient. This early it's kind of pointless to do 3D/4D because baby will look like a little alien and not have his/her full features. I did gender at 14w5d and it was accurate. I did my 3D at 30w and my baby's features were very distinct. He already looked his little self. Now I'm 35 weeks just waiting for him to get here!

It's always net to do the gender as close to 20 weeks, this way it is less likely to be wrong. And I felt that way with my first I wanted I girl so bad, I had a girl so I don't truly know if I would have been disappointed.
