Car seat at hospital.?

At my hospital tour they told me you need to bring the car seat upstairs with you when you're coming to deliver. This might sound dumb, but will someone there install it for you when it's time to go? What if you forget to install it the exact right way?

You keep the base installed in your car and just bring the carrier up. They will make sure everything is correct in place before you drive Away.

They did not check that it was installed correctly at our hospital but they were required to have baby in carseat to discharge us from hospital. We installed it and had it checked at the fire department, left the base in the car and brought in the carseat.

My hospital is not allowed to install it for you due to liability issues.

They inspect the way you  installed it when you're leaving. Have the base in your car already installed, only take the actual car seat in with you.

You have to bring in the car seat, because you can not leave the hospital if the baby isn't strapped into the car seat before leaving the hospital.
