1st round fail?

Last month I was put on clomid, thinking that this was going to be our month. Friday night after going to the bathroom and wiping there was blood, since then there has been minimal spotting, not enough for even a panty liner. So here's my question, is this in fact my period? Do periods come in lighter after being on clomid should I be calling my doctor to see if I can get a refil so I can start round two?
