Quick BC question

I've only been on BC once (3months ago) , I got the Depo form (shot) which last 3 months . I didn't like it because of the weight gain and all the emotions I had jumping around so I'm just stopping it completely , now I've only had one sex partner and for the first time in 2 months we had sex yesterday because I had a period of a month and a half do to the BC .. My OB says it should be out of my system by the 14th I'm assuming there's no chance of anything right? And you wouldn't start to ovulate right away? First timer with birth control and just wanting to know .. It honestly feels great knowing my female parts will be functioning the way it used to
