Still in the hospital

I am 32 weeks today and I been in the hospital since yesterday 1am for mild contractions they gave me the steroids shot for the baby's lungs again so this is my second dose the first dose I was 27 weeks they also gave me some magnesium and put me on Nifedipine to stop the contractions.. They took me off of them this morning to see if I will contract if not I will be able to go home but I started to mildly contract and come to find out I have a irritable uterus also I also already 3cm dilated.. I dilated from 2cm-3cm in 2 hours...I hope I don't need to stay any longer but if the doctors feels it is best then I will be staying until I give birth to this baby boy.. I wonder if anyone have ever been through this and how long did the baby hold off for..
