Coming off birth control

For the past year now I've been taking Sprintec and I'm going to stop taking it.. I haven't talked to my doctor about it and what to expect but I figured I would turn to some of you. I hate the side effects I got from it. I have gained 10lbs, my break outs clear up towards the end of the cycle and once I start a new pack I get some pimples again. It has also changed my sex drive and made me somewhat depressed and unmotivated. Anyone else deal with this kind of situation? What should I expect when I stop taking the pills? Will things eventually go back to normal?
