Late or no period

I am currently on birth control and last month I got my period on the last day of my inactive pills. The previous months have also been the same or 2 days before the last day. Is that normal? Do I need a higher dose on birth control? Last month and this month I have unprotected sex on the first day of my inactive pills so I had to take a plan b. Could that have cause my period a delay?
