Breastfeeding help?

I had a csection and also lost alot of blood very traumatic event after his delivery and he was sent to different hospital nicu. I have been trying to pump all day yesterday and get nothing, not even colostrum. Never had that problem with any previous chikdren. Just wondering if anyone else had csection and this problem? If so any suggestions?

My first was in the nicu like that after a section and early at 33 weeks. they brought me a hospital pump to my room which are supposed to be the best and I couldn't get anything and it made me so sore. After a day and a half of agony I had my husband bring my pump from home in and instantly was able to get something and no more soreness. So I'd recommend trying a different pump along with lactation consultant.

I had a section with my daughter and I had to supplement her (with the lactation consultants' department's help) for several days before things started working properly. Good luck.

Have you tried hand expressing? Or ask a lactation consultant hoe to help since baby is in NICU... Good Luck!
