Ghost baby movement?

Has anyone else experienced ghost baby movement (idk what else to call it). Almost every month (since I stopped BF) just before AF I get twirls and feels like bumps and kicks in my lower abdoment. Almost the same feeling of being preggers, I found out its only gas or cramps for me. But has anyone else had the same feeling? It almost gets my hopes up thinking I'm preggers again :/
