Gender?

I'm 13 weeks and still don't know the gender they want to wait until I'm 16 weeks; November 10.... I'm very anxious and would like to know already what should I tell my doctor? I've already asked for a Panoramic blood test to test gender but they go through the stomach and I'm highly against that!!! Help :/

As frustrating as it is, be patient!  I'm currently 13w4d with fraternal twins and am DYING TO KNOW!!!  We don't find out until our next ultrasound with the specialist which is scheduled for Nov 9th!  3 weeks away and feels like a lifetime.  I'll be 16w5d and hope both babies cooperate!  I'm so ready to pick their names and start baby shopping!!!  😊

I'll be 22 weeks before I get my anatomy scan. It sucks to wait but it's expected since I didn't get the panorama test. And I just wanted to say, the panorama test is just a blood draw. I think you're confusing that test with an amniocentesis, they use a long needle to go through the belly to collect amniotic fluid for that.

You should just wait. All that matters is that you have a healthy baby and not gender. Most places won't tell gender even if you do get a scan that early. Good luck!

I'm 18 weeks with twins and just for kicks our regular OB at our 16 week appointment went ahead and took a peak for us. As far as we can tell they are boys. We only saw one babies genitalia because the other was uncooperative but they are identical twins so if one is a boy, so is the other. Our anatomy ultrasound is Wednesday with our specialist and we will find out then for sure! As excited we are to know for sure we're glad we waited until the anatomy ultrasound to find out. It's highly common to go early and be misgendered. We'd rather wait and know for sure vs finding out early and incorrectly. It would be such a pain to return everything and redo everything. Try to wait. It's worth it and there won't be a doubt in your mind.

I would pay for an elective 4d ultrasound  at a private place. That is what I will be doing! :) I'm counting down the weeks lol. Healthy is what matters but with being so excited I want to SHOP for stuff :)

I paid for an elective u/s at 14+1 and found out we were having boys. It was very obvious. My dr office wouldn't do one till 16 weeks.
