This labor and delivery was nothing like I thought it was going to be. I checked in the hospital on October 12th at 11pm. I was checked and was closed and 40% thinned out. We started cervidil at 12 am and left it in till 12pm. Well once we removed it they noticed it didn't work. I wasn't thinned out more than 40% and I was still closed. They let me get up shower eat and than at 3pm we try pitocin. The whole time I'm contracting but not feeling them. They let that go until 1030pm they check me and still no progress. We talk about a possible c section the next day since my body refuses to go into labor and the baby wouldn't engage she stayed high in my ribs. So because the doctor knew I wanted a vaginal delivery really bad we try cytotec that evening. So at 2am I get the first dose. And 4 hours late I get the second dose. And the next day on 10/14/2015 at 1030am I'm exactly the same no change what so ever. So we decide to go the c section route. And on 10/14/2015 @ 12:53pm I welcomed Aviana Rain. She weighs 10lbs 2oz and is 23.5 inches long.
