Gender reveal party gift?

My future sister in law is having her third baby and is doing a gender reveal party. Do you typically bring a gift to these parties and like what would you get? If she's finding out gender do you still get something gender neutral? Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks

I've never heard of bringing a gift to a gender reveal party. I recently had one myself and wasn't expecting to get anything (nor did I haha). I'd save it for the shower.

Not to be rude or anything, but I just don't really want to get her anything. When we announced our pregnancy her and her boyfriend who is my hubby's brother were mad at us for not telling them before we announced it to everyone else. They literally never even congratulated us and then in August they announced they were having a baby and any time I try to talk to her about baby stuff she either doesn't respond or is rude. This is my first baby so obviously I'm really excited and I'm happy that she's having another one but she is such Debbie downers about everything I just don't even feel like celebrating her. I feel terrible saying that But I'm just so over her

I had a gender reveal party and we asked people to bring diapers or wipes to be entered to win a prize! So that's a great option. Also a gift card to a baby store or target or something. I would stay away from clothes just because gender neutral clothes are kinda hard to find, where i live anyway. Or maybe something special just for her to get through pregnancy? Just thoughts, hope this helps :)

It's typically good manners to bring flowers, food, or drink to give to your hostess but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a baby gift until they have a shower.

I'd bring a bouquet of flowers or bake some cookies and call it a day.

I had a gender reveal and I didn't expect any gifts at all. My MIL just put out a pink bottle and blue bottle and people Put money in them to "bet" what they thought baby would be but I didn't give a prize or anything, but I definitely wasn't expecting a gift from anyone I just wanted to share that experience with my close loved ones 😊

I went to my friends gender reveal and I brought a pair of boy shoes and a pair of girl shoes and when they announced it was a boy I gave her the boy shoes and I just returned the girl ones. You don't have to bring gifts though. I like the diaper idea too

I mean you could get her a small appropriate gifts anyways if that's what you wanna do, but it's not a "gift party" just a party.
