Low lying placenta?

Question

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and I am told I have a low lying placenta. What does that mean? Did anyone have issues with it? What are my risks?
I read about premature birth and bleeding and am worried. I have a hectic work schedule and wondering if I need to cut back before some complications happen...
Doctors appt next week. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

90% of placenta Previa diagnosed before 28 weeks resolves itself. Mine did!

I had a low anterior placenta at 20 weeks, and at 26 weeks it's no longer low 👍🏼

I had a LLP anterior placenta diagnosed at my anatomy scan 18 weeks. Don't worry about it! Mine was rechecked at 32 weeks and had moved well out of the way for a vaginal delivery.

I had plecenta previa with my first pregnancy which is when the plecenta covers your cervix and makes it impossible for you to push baby out because your cervix is covered,although my plecentia moved up at the last minute they still gave me a c-section to be on the safe side. I dont know if thats what your experiencing i just thought id share it because it sounds similar. Good luck and healthy happy 9 months
