CM question!

Earlier today I was having a light/medium amount of what seemed like EWCM(clearish, sometimes a little creamy looking, thin, and stringy) and mild, achy cramps, which didn't surprise me because I'm right dead in the middle of my cycle(CD14 of a 28 day cycle). But when I just went to the bathroom I had thick, cream color sticky CM. Cramping not as noticeable but the dullness of the aching is still there. What the heck is going on? AF isn't due until 11/3.
