Obsession

My boyfriend's mom said I had some sort of obsession with my son - she couldn't think of the name but said it's a real thing. I'm not sure why she thinks this. Because I don't feel comfortable with him having an overnight without me at one month old (he's currently 17 days) or because I'd like to co-sleep (not because bf doesn't want me to)? I don't know, I'm confused and frankly annoyed.
