Intense sharp painful cramping

So yesterday morning around 630 AM (5dpo), I was suddenly woken up due to intense extremely painful cramping lower right around the ovary area. It was so painful I was curled up in a ball and was gritting my teeth. It gradually came and went (like a rubberband being pulled tight and slowly loosened - idk how else to explain it) within a few seconds and within 5 minutes it happened again. Hasn't happened again. I have never felt anything like this before. Has this happened to anyone?
