Sex drive?

Has anyone thats been on the depo shot lost their sex drive? I have. It sucks. Cuz when me & my bf do it I'm so not in the mood. & I dont stay wet down there so its even more frustrating for our sex life cuz it hurts. Its been hurting since I've been on the shot. Any advixe or input?

I'm the complete opposite...been on the depo for 9months and just want sex all the time. but because of constant spotting I feel cautious about having sex because it makes me bleed more. Wouldn't recommend the depo to anyone with the results I've heard and experienced.

Yes I used the shot for about a year and it was terrible I was spotting all the time  no interest on sex at all I research about it and I found that the way the shot works is horrible well to me it is what it does is get rid of the endometrium wich is the nest for the baby in case you get pregnant so it's kinda scraping you uterus all the time so you never get pregnant there is no place for a baby interrupt the natural cicle of your body so no cicle no fertile days equals died sex drive, I'm not an expert but I'm just sharing my experience I'm 37 I had this wen I was in my early 20's
