do you flush your tampons?

I know your not supposed to but my close friend just told me she does and I'm just wondering if this is a common thing to do???

Defiantly do NOT flush them they can cause serious problems for your plumbing.

They can cause a lot of trouble if they get caught in your plumbing - having your dad tell you to stop doing it because it's blocked the pipes is pretty embarrassing. 
There's scented bags you can buy to put them in before you put them in the bin but they can be expensive. I buy big packs of about 100 nappy bags for a couple of quid and they do the exact same thing and cost next to nothing compared.

You should not flush them! They expand dramatically in quick periods of time. That really can't be good for your toilet and it can get blocked and having to get a tampon taking out of your drain would probably be embarrassing haha but yeah not a good idea.
