Anyone just keep rescheduling appointments that they can't afford?

I currently can't afford to keep going to my appointments at the moment due to some financial and insurance issues. I have them every 2 weeks now. I have to keep retrying the 3 hour glucose test over and over because I keep getting sick! The last two times I've just rescheduled it. Any advice? I can't keep paying for these bills right now.

Yes,  apply for immediate medical or Medicaid depending on where you live. They should approve you right away at no cost to you.

I failed my glucose test twice. The first I was sick and the second I fainted. I didn't do it again and if I was asked I would've said no. I told my midwife I will do any blood test or other tests as I did in ky first pregnancy but I wont do a glucose test again - I just know I can't do it successfully. Another midwife said there are ways around doing it. I think its just easier for them to do the glucose version because its quicker or more reliable but if you can't do it then don't feel you have to 😊

Talk to your doctors office about a payment plan. Your baby should get the care it needs regardless.
