Anyone had a water birth?

Hi I'm a first time mom and thinking about a water birth as my delivery option. Any mom's out there that experienced a water birth? What was it like? Benefits? Please share your stories ❤

I planned to have a home water birth with my son (who is now almost two), but while I was laboring, I ended up really not liking the feeling of weightlessness in the water, especially in my legs, and birthed on our bed instead.. this really surprised me. water birth really does have so many benefits, like reducing the likelihood of tearing and being a gentle transition for baby from womb to world, but I guess it isn't for everyone. I'll probably try again for a water birth with this baby, but will probably just use the bath tub instead of renting a birth tub that I may not use again.. I say go for it! from what I've read and heard from midwives, most women who have water births love it and wouldn't have had it any other way.
