Why do schools encourage/reward perfect attendance?
My daughter was sick the other day and cried when I made her stay home. I found out that all the children with perfect attendance get to have a pizza party at the end of the year and now she can't go.
Why do schools still do this? I don't want my child going to school and getting other children sick. This seems obvious to me. Shouldn't that be the standard?
