Low cervix?

I had some bleeding and cramping the other day and my doctor told me to go straight to the ER. they took blood, everything looked good, but she was concerned because my cervix was really really low and irritated. I haven't had sex or anything in weeks (morning sickness, yay). I did get diagnosed with BV and a yeast infection but she still doesn't know why my cervix is so irritated or why I was bleeding. Anyone experience anything like this. Baby heart beat was 165 and bouncing around like crazy on the US. I was 11 weeks exactly.
