First time...

So my bf and I had sex for the first time a couple of weeks ago but weirdly enough, I was expecting and bracing myself for an excruciating pain like everyone says it was gong to be, but no, it wasn't painful at all, it actually felt pretty darn good. Is that possible? No bleeding even...and I know for a fact that I was a virgin. I'm really not complaining, but should I be concerned?
