Question for my cousin.

My cousin yesterday told me that when she went to her 20 week scan that her baby boy has enlarged kidneys and an enlarged bladder. The doctor told her that her baby can't pee and now they are worried because without him peeing he's using up the amniotic fluid. She has to see a high risk doctor now and they are gonna try to help him pee by putting in a shunt (I think that's what its called). Doesn't seem like a good prognosis for this lil bub and I was wondering if anyone else had this happen and what was the outcome. Thank you..
