What happens if you take Femara too early?

I have been messed up this cycle and had some in between spotting and regular cycle for the past week so my dr had me count Wednesday as cycle day 3 and I take my last Femara pills tonight on what should be cycle day 7 and this morning I started full on with cramps. I'm afraid I'll be even more messed up now. What should I do? I won't ovulate this cycle will i?? Soo frustrated
