Boyfriends mom hates me?

Went apple picking with my boyfriend and his family. We have been together about a year and yesterday was his birthday. Since me and her met I've never get the feeling she likes me at all, she doesn't even like saying hi to me but my boyfriend says differently. He says she's totally fine with me. I sent her a text to thank her for taking me with the family for the day and there is her response. What are your thoughts. Comment below too

My husbands family hated me! They would ignore me tell my husband to leave me constaly while we were dating. They would pretend like I didn't exist. They are over it 2 years later. I gave them the first girl in the family. His mom calls me all the time now and his dad well he's coming around

I wouldn't stress it if she doesn't like you. My boyfriends mom and father do no like me and forbid him to see me. They do not approve because they are Christian and I'm Catholic. But I ignore it and continue to date him because I love him and i dont care what anyone has to think! So don't over think it or worry! Do whatever makes you happy

She should of put something like that's okay and thanks for letting me know sort of thing. Maybe you should try asking her if she has a problem with you cause that way you could sort any problem she may have or get your boyfriend to ask her to see as he knows her better. Quite an awkward Situation really to be in I bet. I'm sure she has no reason to not like you. Maybe it's not you she has the problem with and she may just be a bit funny with her son been in a relationship and having someone been there for him instead of it been his mum all the time. Parents can be a bit funny about things like this. I don't think my mum likes my boyfriend and it really frustrates me cause she hated me having something to say about her ex and at the end of the day it's our choice who were with. I hope you can try and found out what the problem is. Try not to worry to much :) talk it out

it's hard to tell based on a text convo. is she text savvy? my mom just sucks at texting and tries to avoid to so she always sends short answers. like "ok. see you. come over." lol. I am not sure.

It seems like she might not like you, talk to your boyfriend about it more. And if I were you I'd try to talk to her about it in person and say "I get the feeling you don't like me?"
