32 weeks. Pressure and cramps?

Question

Anyone else feeling period-like cramps and pressure in your vaginal/anal area? It's been a pretty consistent thing for me the past few days.
Also, my Braxton Hicks have seemed to become more frequent. They're not regular or anything, and could be an hour apart if not more.
I'm a ftm, so of course I over analyze everything, but I just want some reassurance that everything is still okay.

I had this too, my doctor says it is the baby going in the downward position and that's why the pressure is in your hips.

If I hold my pee too long (like at work... I'm a nurse), after I do finally pee I get severe cramps for a few minutes. I don't have cramps any other time but I definitely have the pelvic/vaginal pressure. Sometimes I can't even walk it hurts so bad in my pelvis.

I am feeling a lot of pressure too and BH along with the baby moving. I am 34 weeks and I've been trying to decide if I should go see my midwife. It's not painful just uncomfortable and I will feel so silly if I go in for nothing

Yeah i went to l & d for that although it was nothing. Honestly, ive read a lot of these lately and 9/10 its dehydration. I was drinking what i thought was plenty but realized i was always parched. Once i upped the water intake, the cramps are fewer and further in between

At 32 weeks, you really have to over analyze everything. Most of the time, it's something as simple as baby moving and the pain is just pressure on areas you've never felt before. But if you feel like something could be wrong or that they are stronger than just baby wiggles always consult your doctor. Better to be a worry wart than to go into preterm labor.

I'm pregnant with twins and started having alot of braxton hicks and period like pains at 26 weeks. I went to my hospital's anti natal ward when I started timing the contractions and realized they were about 10 minutes apart. Turned out that I was going into preterm labor! They put me on a drip and I had to stay for two days bit they were able to stop it. It happened twice more at 28 and 29 weeks. At 29 weeks the doctor wasn't sure they would be able to hold off active labor but luckily they succeeded. He told me that about 4 painful contractions a day is normal. Anything more, even what feels like braxton hicks is not good. If you are unsure, go to hospital and let them monitor the contractions.  Your baby is already in the safe zone but just in case, have it checked out so they can give you steroids for baba's lungs etc if they suspect preterm labor.
