Mixed emotions on possible pregnancy

I was due oct 20 but no signs, I took a test on 22nd but it was negative. Today is 26th and still no signs at all. I'm going to buy a couple more tests today. Normally I get brown spotting the day before I start my period and I haven't had this.

I am very regular so this has thrown me off completely. I have been late once before (6days) but on that day I started to have spotting.

I have had sex twice in the last 2 days and after I clean up and wipe there is a pink smudge. (And it's not from being too rough)

My partner and I want a baby so bad, but right now finances are not on our side, hence the mixed emotions. I was due to go back on to the pill yesterday too!

Has anyone else experienced this?
