I've just started using opks. It is a week before my expected period and this test looks positive to me. Is it normal to ovulate so late in your cycle? My cycles are usually 30 days on average.

Just took another ovulation test and it is much darker than the one I took this morning.

although 14 days after period is "normal" it seems like there is a lot of variation to when we actually ovulate!

I would say either you are almost to your LH peak or coming down. The test line, to me, appears to be lighter than the control line still. You want the test line to be as dark or darker. BD anyway. Ovulation is usually 12-36 hours after peak.
