Had OB appt today -vbac anyone else?

Loved hearing our little ones heartbeat :) got our hospital registration forms and discussed vbac. Anyone else doing vbac?

We're planning one but we planned a home birth last time and that didn't work out. Rolling with the punches but I've found a great provider that supports me as long as everything looks good to them.

My dr will do it only if I go into natural labor. She won't induce me or let me go until 40 wks. She said if I happen to go into labor by 39 weeks then we can try! So it's not a for sure. So technically she will set my csection date & if anything happens sooner then I can try for a vbac

I want to try it, but my doctor reccomends not to because my pregnancy is so close to my first and I'm kind of small. I'd rather have a healthy baby than risk any problems..

Vbac is not even an option through my Dr. I have had 2c-sections, tubal ligation, & tubal ligation reversal so too many surgeries to risk anything.

I don't think it's the hospital. It's whether your doctor will do it or not. Some won't even attempt it. My particular doctor will but like she said you have to be a good candidate. No gestational diabetes, I can't have gained over 40lbs, no other issues.

I want a vbac so bad and I can't find a doctor who offers it! I'm so disappointed!! My current doctor said I would be a good candidate but there is not a doctor around here who will do it. ☹️

We decided to plan vbac if i go into labor naturally. If I need induction or have any issue pop up will do c section. Went over everything with OB he agreed that's a good plan. Had to sign liability release my hospital doesn't "normally" allow vbac but since my dr is allowing it they had a form for me to sign when registering.

Vbac hopeful here 🙋🏻 but I'm unsure if I will still try if the need to induce arises, I may just opt for a rcs instead.
